Blue Water Appeal
Humanity Gives Blue Water Appeal
Fresh water is a diminishing resource its greatest need is for irrigation and food production latest statistics suggest that almost 80% of the worlds population live in the driest half of the planet.
780 million people do not have access to clean drinking water and almost 2.5 billion people do not have access to adequate sanitation.
6 million people die annually from water related diseases.
Humanity Gives is presently supporting the building of wells in Pakistan as well as supporting rural Villages in Africa with sanitation and water irrigation systems.
One in 10 people around the world do not have access to safe clean drinking water. We are planning on building and supporting more Blue Water Appeal projects throughout the world. Many people in the developing world rely upon open water sources that have no covers. An unsealed water source means water becomes dirty and contaminated, leading to the spread of harmful disease.
Humanity Gives supports families with reliable access to safe, clean drinking water. Clean water means healthier lives, improved livelihoods and, ultimately, a route out of poverty.
